Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Today, ask yourself, am I living like someone who knows what peace cost? Am I believing the peace that Jesus paid for? "Peace I leave with you," he says, "not the fragile peace that the world offers, but peace anchored in the cross". Peace that holds even when circumstances don't.
