About Pastor Dr. Herbert Ward Sr.
Pastor Dr. Herbert Ward, Sr. currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Gospel House Ministries, Inc. located in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn, New York – just minutes away from the Barclays Center. Gospel House is an outreach-based ministry that was co-organized with his wife, Pastor Dr. Brenda, in November 2008.
Pastor Dr. Ward, Sr. received his foundational religious training at the Grace Baptist Church in the East New York section of Brooklyn, New York where he received salvation at the tender age of 10 years old. He received a Doctor of Christian Education and a Doctor of Ministry conferred by Anointed by God Ministries Alliance in June 2019.
Pastor Dr. Ward, Sr. is a God-anointed prayer warrior and is an astute teacher and preacher of the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ (“The Good News”). Through his faithful attendance in Sunday School since his childhood years and Bible class throughout his adult years, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God has blessed him to be a gifted teacher and a gift to the Body of Christ. He consistently demonstrates his love for Christ through obedience to the will of God, his love for his family, the church family, and the lost, through acts of kindness and sharing the Word of God. Together, he and his wife, Pastor Dr. Brenda, have three sons, two daughters, and seven grandchildren.
