About Archbishop Eugene James Blount
Archbishop Eugene James Blount is the Senior Pastor of The Elim International Fellowship, Inc., The Protestant Cathedral in Brooklyn, New York. He is also the Chief Prelate and Founder of The International Fellowship of Elim, Inc.
At 10 years of age Archbishop Blount accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Thereafter, he began to experience the stirrings of what would become his prophetic mantle. A mark of distinction was placed upon his life forever and Archbishop Blount began to wholly follow The Lord. Today he is a man of faith and prayer.
In 1990 Archbishop Blount joined The Elim International Fellowship, Inc., under the pastorate of the late Archbishop Wilbert S. McKinley. At Elim, his love of scripture was deepened and he gained a thorough understanding of the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of men. More importantly, he learned to think biblically.
Archbishop Blount was elevated to the highest episcopal office of the church on October 19, 2008. Today he is a man of faith and prayer.
Archbishop Blount is also a man who is engaged in community, business and education. He holds a Masters of Arts degree in Religious Leadership and Administration from New York Theological Seminary, and he is currently a candidate for the PhD in Business Administration at one of our nation’s leading universities.
