About Reverend Dr. Melony Samuels

Dr. Samuels holds dear to her heart the words of the Apostle Paul as he wrote, “Brethren I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus”. She sees herself only as a “prisoner” of the Living God and her daily lifestyle is expressed in these words, “I count all things but loss for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them as dung that I may win Christ.” Her greatest joy is pleasing God, her husband, her children, and her church family. Rev. Dr. Melony Samuels is the Pastor of Full Gospel Tabernacle of Faith Church, at 1212 East New York Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11212. She is the wife of a loving husband, Bishop Alton Samuels, a mother, grandmother, and a servant to those that God has entrusted in her care. She considers herself an ambassador in bonds of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is only through His grace and mercy that she has the victory. It was from a life of sin and despair that God called her and has now fashioned her to complete His will over the past 20 years. Since her call to ministry, she has preached locally and internationally. She has spoken at seminars and conferences about various facets of Christian living. God has given her the ministry of healing and deliverance; for this, she gives God all the glory. She was the president of Full Gospel Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary, where God gave her the opportunity to work with many believers. Although God has successfully kept her busy through ministry, He still allows her to minister to the needs of the community of Central Brooklyn and neighborhoods across NYC through the Campaign Against Hunger (TCAH), an anti-hunger non-profit organization that was borne out of compassion to assist vulnerable families with food, benefits access services, workforce programs, community nutrition and health education, and critical social services. Today, TCAH is one of the largest and most impactful anti-hunger organizations in NYC, serving over 1.5 million New Yorkers and approximately 15 million nutritious meals! Rev. Dr. Melony Samuels is the Founder and CEO. With all that God has allowed her to accomplish, she sees herself as a mere vessel, for it is in Him that she lives, moves, and has her being. She thanks the directions of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit for her ability to continue ministering. To God be the glory!
