About Pastor Elsie
Elsie Nene Obed is a handmaiden of the Lord who loves Spirit-filled worship to the living God, and the wonderful insight for living found in the Bible, the Word of God.
She believes in the blessings and mercies of God that are available to all who surrender their lives to Jesus and accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior. She made this commitment in January 1983 and attests to the reality that the Lord is merciful and His blessings are amazing.
Worship His Majesty King Jesus is her vision to promote Spirit-filled worship all over the world. Her ministry platform, Lilies International Christian Outreach, broadcasts radio and internet messages to teach biblical principles as led by the Holy Spirit. She ministers globally, and locally at The King’s Temple in Long Island, New York.
Pastor Elsie is a worshipper and loves and encourages pure worship in her ministry. Her recorded worship CD’s entitled Prayersong, Ibakam, Awesome andMy Own Emmanuel and her ministration at Worship His Majesty King Jesus communicate her heart in multicultural worship. Her ministry to the Lord, which also includes christian seminars, sermons, conferences.
Pastor Elsie teaches the basics of Christianity without compromising the integrity of the Bible. She is a firm believer in praying with scriptures for positive breakthroughs in life. She has two prayer books published entitled Prayers for Progress and Prevailing Prayers.
She has organized the annual intercessory, interdenominational worship event “Worship His Majesty King Jesus” since 2003 in New York City and venues have included Madison Square Garden, the Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom and the Marriott Marquis at Times Square Grand Ballroom with many globally known artists leading the people of God in worship. “Worship His Majesty King Jesus” has also commenced in Nigeria and she is in the process of creating similar altars of intercessory worship around the world.
In 2012, the Lord miraculously blessed her ministry with a place of worship, in Hewlett which she named “The King’s Temple” and now regular leadership training services, conferences, seminars and other worship events are held there as the Holy Spirit directs.
