For almost two decades, Christy Nockels’ powerful singing voice has ministered to a generation of worshippers; first, with her husband Nathan as the two together comprised the group Watermark. Then, with globally-recognized worship leaders like Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman as they lead untold thousands of college kids in worship at the annual Passion conferences.

Now, Christy launches the next phase of her ministry with the premier of an online podcast. Titled, “The Glorious in the Mundane”, the podcasts become an online extension of the outreach she now has on-stage.

"I couldn’t be more giddy to announce that this just launched!  The idea [behind the podcast] is conversations that will inspire you, right where you are today; doing whatever it is you’re doing”, Christy says.  "I refer to it as my “farm table epiphany” when God got a hold of my heart several years ago and showed me how exhausted I really was because I was trying to do it ALL. Somehow in the fight to keep all of the things in my world spinning (writing, touring, mothering, leading) the things truly worth fighting for ended up being pushed to the side…or I was spread so thin, I couldn’t do anything well. I’m truly grateful that God interrupted my life when He did so that I could see that just as many glorious things could happen at my farm table as they could under lights on a stage somewhere. Finding “the glorious in the mundane” changed my whole world…the way I live, the way I mother, the way I lead and write… I’ll be sitting around the table with some of your favorite artists and authors as we delve into what it looks like to trust God with the big things (rather than try to carry them ourselves) and recall His faithfulness even in the smallest things. I can't wait to share this time with you!"

A long time in preparation but a natural in presentation, Christy says the idea of a podcast has been in her heart for years, but has just now come about. “It has been a long time dream of mine to make this happen, one that I hadn’t mentioned to very many people. I honestly didn’t think it was a possibility for me so it’s just so exciting to actually see it unfold!”

Content for the podcast will include interviews with Christian artists, authors, preachers, mothers, and friends. Topics will likely run the gamut of being a Christian woman in today’s society.
