'American Idol' to Host 3-Hour “Songs of Faith” Special Easter Sunday

Airing Easter Sunday, April 20, "American Idol" will present a “Songs of Faith” special, where all 20 AI contestants perform worship and gospel songs in primetime.
Artists scheduled to perform include CeCe Winans, Brandon Lake, and Country artist Jelly Roll. Lake and Jelly Roll will perform their collaboration hit single, “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” which is in the top ten on the Christian Music charts.
Not to be outdone by guest performances, American Idol judges Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan will also be performing worship songs on the special.
Tune in to the "Songs of Faith" special at 8 p.m. ET on ABC on April 20.
Underwood joined Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on the judges panel of the hit show "American Idol," on ABC and Hulu, marking the 20th anniversary of her winning the title.
