CATHEDRAL INTERNATIONAL is the historic Second Baptist Church (founded in 1904). A Christ-centered community, we embrace historic Christian Liturgy and Pentecostal fervor. We hold in tension a call to spirit-filled living and social renewal. Our five-fold mission is to Evangelize, Educate, Emancipate, Empower and Expand in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through Loving, Lifting and Liberating humanity. Cathedral International, Asbury Park, NJ and Cathedral International, Plainfield, NJ are extensions of the Cathedral International. We are One Church in Three Locations experiencing the Wonder, Worship and Witness of Jesus Christ. CATHEDRAL INTERNATIONAL is a member of the American Baptist Churches, USA. Our Bishop, is the Presiding Prelate of the Covenant Ecumenical Fellowship & Cathedral Assemblies, Inc. A fellowship of churches, ministers, bishops and pastors.
