Restoration Family Church was founded in December 1999 by Pastor Chuck and Pat Higgins with the assignment to be a restorer of paths to dwell in. "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12 KJV. Our mission is " to see lives restored to God's original plan". We focus on reconciling people to God, restoring them to the house of God and to their natural family. In our service our goal is to have an encounter with God. A time of fellowship where you will experience spirit filled praise and worship and a relevant, bible centered, revelatory word of God! Leaving better and not bitter. In an effort to fulfill our call we have a strong emphasis on the family, homeless and those disconnected from the church of Christ. We hold monthly family fellowship and home building events that minister to men, women and children individually and collectively. We also transport the homeless from Penn Station to RFC on Sundays for natural and spiritual food and often a change of clothes. Additionally once a month, in place of our midweek service, we go down to the streets with prayer, hot beverages, food, coats, hats etc . We have seen some of these beautiful people get houses, jobs and reconnect with long lost loved ones! We have been in ministry for 25 years, pastoring for 14 of those years. We are affiliates of Abundant Life Ministries, intl. under the covering of Bishop Peter Bruno, Nutley, NJ. We have travelled extensively in our early years of ministry evangelizing, teaching and leading worship. We have ministered in England, France, Sweden, Mexico and Puerto Rico but our greatest joy has come from pastoring as we see the Body of Christ equipped for the work of ministry.
