Some seasons feel endless.

The kind where one challenge follows another.
Where just as one problem fades, another appears.
Where you barely have time to catch your breath.

It can feel like winter that never ends.

Cold.
Heavy.
Unpredictable.

And exhausting.

But Scripture offers a powerful reminder in Song of Songs 2:10–12:
“See! The winter is past… flowers appear on the earth.”

Winter does not last forever.

Even when it feels like it will.

The devotional paints a relatable picture—watching snow melt, only for another storm to come. That cycle can feel frustrating, even discouraging.

And spiritually, we experience the same thing.

Trials come in waves.
Difficulties stack up.
We begin to wonder if we’ll ever reach a season of peace.

But what if we’ve been asking the wrong question?

Instead of asking “Why is this happening?”
What if we asked, “What is God teaching me through this?”

That shift changes everything.

James 1:2–4 tells us that trials produce perseverance.
They shape us.
They strengthen us.
They prepare us.

That doesn’t make them easy—but it gives them purpose.

Even when you can’t see what God is doing, He is working beneath the surface.

Just like grass grows under the snow…
Just like seeds take root before they bloom…
God is preparing something in your life.

Isaiah 43:19 reminds us:
“See, I am doing a new thing!”

Even now.
Even here.
Even in this hard season.

And one day, you will see it.

You’ll see the growth.
You’ll see the fruit.
You’ll see the purpose.

But for now, your calling is simple:

Hold on.

Hold onto hope.
Hold onto truth.
Hold onto God.

Because this season—no matter how heavy—
is not permanent.

Spring is coming.

And when it does, you’ll realize something powerful:

God was with you the entire time.
